HALF-DAY CITY TOUR

While it’s certainly a stretch of the imagination to refer to Hanga Roa as a ‘City’, this tour is an excellent option for those that would like a gentle introduction to the island, and to get a good understanding of the layout of the island’s only inhabited town. You will visit the Catholic Church with its ornate carvings, the craft market, the island cemetery and the 2 small fishing coves, as well as receiving all of the eating and shopping recommendations that you could possibly need.

This tour is an excellent option for people’s first afternoon on Easter Island, and serves as an easy introduction to Hanga Roa and its surroundings.

Many visitors have found it greatly beneficial to get their bearings of the island’s one town early on in their stay, and that way are saved from wasting any time getting lost or eating at sub-par restaurants.
